Perfect day for enjoying some Irish music. And my son requested to play lots of games today so that's what we're doing. He even made up a game called "cabbage ball"!

The rules of cabbage ball seem to be somewhat similar to soccer only with a head of cabbage as a ball. Note: be very careful when kicking a head of cabbage. They are hard! We found it best to roll it with the bottom of our feet. The boys won 2 - 1. And our chickens got the remains of the cabbage as a treat!
There are various versions of Colcannon, but here is the recipe we use:

Boil water in a large pot and add:

Peeled Potatoes

Salt & Pepper, to taste

When the potatoes are tender, drain and mash them well.

In a skillet, heat some oil or butter and fry until soft:

1 Onion, Thinly Sliced

Place the mixture in an oiled or buttered casserole dish. Add margarine or butter, salt and pepper, to taste. This can be made earlier in the day and then re-heated in the oven.

Serve topped with:

I have been working with watercolors lately so I thought a watercolor project would be in order. First we tried the project with a cross cut out of cardstock that we taped to watercolor paper. We then splattered several colors of watercolor paint onto the paper around the cross.

This was an experimental project for me as I had not tried it before. What we discovered is the watercolors ran a bit under the cardstock cross. Also, lighter colors did not work very well because they did not provide enough contrast. I also tried the project with masking tape in a simple cross pattern. This one came out a bit better as it did not run. This project would work well with acrylic or tempera paint (just dilute with a little water to make it more runny).

I have two sick kids today so just my oldest son and I did the project together. He doesn't usually join me for things like this anymore, but when he was younger we did a craft project together almost every day. So it was nice to do a project together again!
P.S. I highly recommend this book about St. Patrick to read aloud to children. It goes great with the peg doll and shamrock.
In preparation for the Sunday of Orthodoxy this weekend (http://antiochian.org/sundayoforthodoxy) I decided a good project for the kids and I would be to mount some icon prints on wood. I had been wanting to try this project for awhile so this seemed like the perfect week for it. This is not an easy project for children so I had them participate as best they could.

The materials we used were:
unfinished wood plaques from a craft store
printed icons (one from a magazine, one from a calendar and one print from the Convent of St. Elizabeth)
fine sandpaper
craft paint
mod podge
paintbrush
I have read about mounting icon prints on wood using varnish, but I decided to try the mod podge method instead. I watched a short tutorial on mounting a photo onto wood with mod podge so I used a similar method for the icons. I learned that the thinner papers wrinkled some with the mod podge. The thicker icon print from St. Elizabeth's did not wrinkle, but I had to be careful when applying the mod podge because if I wiped the mod podge off of the print it smudged off the ink. So I carefully applied a layer of the mod podge to that print taking care not to wipe or smudge it. Since the thinner paper of the magazine and calendar wrinkled some I had to use my fingers to smooth out wrinkles after applying the mod podge. Thankfully the ink did not smudge on these. Overall the project came out decent, but not perfect.

Method:
First I lightly sanded the wood plaques with fine grain sandpaper (220). Then I had my kids each paint the front of a plaque for their chosen icon print. The store was out of the size of plaque I needed for my daughter's print so we had to use a plaque that was too large. None of the icons fit perfectly onto the wood, but I found wood fairly close in size for the other two.

We used a chocolate brown color. After the fronts had dried, the kids applied one coat of paint to the back.
After the plaques were completely dry we applied a light coat of mod podge to the back of the icon prints. It is important to not apply too much mod podge to the back of the paper especially the thinner papers as it will cause it to wrinkle. I laid the print with the mod podge on the back on the plaque and starting smoothing from the middle of the print outward. I had to apply a little extra to the corners as the mod podge dries quickly.

Then I had the kids help apply a thin layer of mod podge over the top of the print and wood. (its best to lay the wood on plastic while you do this step instead of newspaper so the wood does not stick to the paper). I ended up doing most of this step myself when I saw that the thinner paper icons were going to wrinkle. I tried to apply the thinnest coat possible to the thinner papers. Then I smoothed the print out as best as I could with my fingers (I did not do this with the print from St. Elizabeth's which was thicker). Be sure to check a corner of your print to see if the ink is going to rub off before trying to smooth out after applying a layer of mod podge. We only applied one coat of the mod podge and only to the fronts. You can apply to the back also after the front has dried thoroughly, but we skipped that step.

After they had dried, the wrinkles were not too apparent. For a first attempt with simple supplies the results were not too bad. Unfortunately we are snowed in so we weren't able to take our icons to church today for the procession. So we had our own procession at home.
We were busy that day so we celebrated late. St. Brigid is one of my favorite Saints. She was born in the mid-5th century in Ireland. She founded many convents across Ireland during her lifetime and is a much beloved Saint in Ireland. You can read more about her life and ways to celebrate her Feast Day HERE.

I read this lovely book about St. Brigid to my children (unfortunately it appears this book is currently out of print, but there is an e-book version available). I absolutely love the beautiful illustrations by Zachary Lynch (who also wrote and illustrated another favorite book of mine about St. Patrick).
We used the instructions found HERE. We used strips of paper from a magazine, but we should have made our strips a little longer. They still came out lovely. We also ate oat pancakes (in lieu of oat cakes). Traditional recipes for St. Brigid's Day can be found HERE. We save our colcannon for St. Patrick's Day!
Kontakion of Saint Brigid
The holy virgin Brigid full of divine wisdom,
went with joy along the way of evangelical childhood,
and with the grace of God
attained in this way the summit of virtue.
Wherefore she now bestows blessings
upon those who come to her with faith.
O holy virgin, intercede with Christ our God
that He may have mercy on our souls.jeanniesophiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01752398494981398589noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762767475451877185.post-65664251193170312402014-06-30T13:38:00.001-07:002014-06-30T18:51:45.361-07:00Creating a Turtle HabitatA neighbor found a little turtle and brought it to us. My daughter is fighting a cold and I think I'm coming down with it too so I spent my late morning relaxing outside watching our chickens and enjoying the (unusual for June) coolness after a light rain. Since I have trouble sitting still for very long, I couldn't resist turning the sticks and rocks at my feet into a picture. So after creating this guy (see photo on the right), I dragged my two younger kids outside for some fresh air and nature art.
These are great projects to do at a park and leave for someone else to enjoy. Also, a good way to get kids outside having fun and being creative.
Looking for a fun summer craft project? This is a great project to make outside with kids! I did this project with a group of children and teens who came to a summer arts and craft camp. The Fariy Gardens they created were portable and could be taken home to keep or given as a gift. The children made some delightful little gardens and they really enjoyed the process.

Here are some of the materials we used:
Large plastic bowls
Potting Soil
Wood craft birdhouses
Small pebbles from the craft store
Smooth rocks or river stones (larger than the small pebbles, but not too large)
Faux moss from the craft store
Faux moss rocks
Miniature plastic birds
Glass gems
Craft paint (if the gardens will be kept outside use Outdoor Craft Paint)
Hot glue gun to attach miniature birds
Permanent markers for writing on the stones
Small potted flowering plants and herbs
Gravel or broken pottery pieces for drainage at the bottom of the bowls

You don't have to use all of these items, but the list gives you some ideas. You may have other miniature items around your house that would make a great addition to a fairy garden. I bought most of these items at my local craft store with the exception of the bowls, potting soil and plants. This project was fairly inexpensive.

Making the gardens:
First have the childen paint the miniature wooden birdhouses in the colors of their choice. Next place a layer of gravel or broken pottery pieces at the bottom of the bowl to help with drainage. Then add potting soil and fill to the top. When the paint has dried on the birdhouse the children can begin to design the layout of the garden. It's best to place the house first then decide where the other items will go. Have them chose a few flowers and herbs to plant. They might want to add a pebble path and a larger stone with a message or name on it. We added some faux moss and faux mossy rocks plus a miniature plastic bird. The children can glue the birds to the little houses or onto one of the rocks. The kids can really get creative with these and will no doubt have plenty of ideas of items to add. They could glue small sticks together to make other items such as a garden bench to place outside the miniature house. Children will think of plenty of ideas to make their gardens inviting and cozy spaces for their tiny friends.

I used the super simple instructions found here to make the accordian fold flowers from an old map.

My kids helped cut out triangles from the map to make a bunting. I punched holes and used small red ribbon (the color I happened to have on hand) to string through the holes.

Table decorations included wooden toy vehicles, globe balls, a small cardboard suitcase decorated with travel stickers and some pretty roses from my rose bush.

Simple, quick and fun decorations!jeanniesophiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01752398494981398589noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762767475451877185.post-76779705039273103992014-05-30T00:31:00.000-07:002014-05-30T00:31:50.842-07:00A gift from the heart....My ten year old daughter loves to make things and she loves to give gifts, especially gifts she has made herself. (I need to do a whole series on the homemade toys she has made for her little brother over the years.) I absolutely love her creative and giving spirit!

Another thing my daughter loves is looking for four leaf clovers. She finds a surprising number of them. Guess she has a lot of good luck in store for her! She found a four leaf clover recently and decided to make something special with it for a friend. She remembered the Modge Podge we had used recently for another project and came up with the idea of decorating a box with the clover. So she pressed the clover flat in a book for a few days and I took her to the craft store to pick out a paper mache craft box. She chose a small oval shaped one. We brought it home and she carefully decided on the color she wanted to paint it. Then she attached the clover to the painted box and covered it with a couple of coats of Modge Podge. Here are the results. I think the box turned out lovely! It was a simple, yet pretty project that she came up with on her own. And a beautiful gift for her friend. She decided to put something in the box too, but we were running too crazy and busy that day (dance recital!) so I didn't find out what the special something was she put inside. I'll try to remember to ask her that tomorrow......
I was very pleased with the results I achieved this year. We used purple (red) cabbage to make blue, beets for pink and turmeric for yellow. We took eggs which had been dyed yellow in the turmeric and put them in the blue dye for to make green. I also dyed a few with plants attached to make a print design. The results were truly lovely!

Here's how to make them:

First hard boil the eggs and include about 1 Tablespoon of vinegar in the water (to remove any residue that might be on the eggs). Let the eggs cool.

For yellow dye:
Add 3 tablespoons turmeric and 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 3 cups hot water. Stir well until dissolved, then let cool.

For blue dye:
Chop one small head of purple cabbage (or half of a large head) and simmer in 3 cups of water for 25 - 30 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar while it is cooking. Remove the cabbage and allow the dye to cool.

For pink dye:
Chop 3 beets into approximately one inch chunks. Simmer in 3 cups of water for 25 - 30 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar while the beets are cooking. Remove beets and let the dye cool.

For green eggs:
Dye eggs yellow, then place in the blue dye.

Place eggs in the preferred color of dye and let sit for 10 - 30 minutes depending on what color you desire. The yellow worked the quickest. The beets and cabbage dyes took longer to reach the desired color. Gently stir the eggs in the dye occasionally to ensure even color. I blotted the eggs with a paper towel after taking them out of the dye.
CAUTION: These natural dyes will stain things other than the eggs (like your counter top!) so I recommend covering your work space with newspaper or a disposable table cloth.

For plant print designs:
Gather leaves or flowers from your yard. I just used weeds from my yard. The longer stems with multiple leaves look nice because you can wrap the stem around the egg. Place the leaf or stem on the eggs then wrap with a mesh type material. I used some mesh fabric I had on hand. Pantyhose would probably work well too. I secured the mesh with a rubber band. The main objective is to keep the plant tight against the egg while still allowing the dye to get through the mesh to the rest of the egg. Mine turned out better than I expected!
There are various legends surrounding the red eggs. A few can be found here. After the midnight Pasha service we each take a red egg (which was first boiled) and tap it against another person's egg while one person gives the Paschal greeting, Christ is Risen! and the other person answers, Indeed He is Risen! The egg that doesn't crack is then tapped against another person's egg and then another and so forth until there is only one person with an unbroken egg. That person is considered to have good luck for the rest of the year, good health or long life (it varies according to different traditions). Of course children love this egg tapping game and look forward to it every year. It is a fun tradition that all ages enjoy as they proclaim the Risen Christ at midnight and begin the joyous feast!

This year we will color our traditional red eggs using yellow onion skins, but we will also be trying some other natural dyes. One year I tried blueberries which gave a deep purple color. This year we will also experiment with turmeric (for yellow), purple cabbage (for blue) and beets (for pink). I will report back here on our results!

This coming Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Great Lent, we commemorate St. Mary of Egypt. I really love St. Mary and the story of her very sincere and deep repentance as well as her amazing life of asceticism. It's no wonder she is commemorated in the Orthodox Church during Great Lent, a time of repentance and spiritual renewal.

Her story has many elements that children find interesting (especially the lion!). St. Mary lived a very sinful life before her conversion. Therefore, it can be a somewhat delicate task to tell her story to children in a way that is appropriate for them while at the same time conveying the depths of her sins from which she repented. I searched online for a children's book or story about the life pf St. Mary of Egypt. I still haven't found any storybooks about her life for children, but I did run across a re-telling of her life for children posted on her feast day (which is April 1). It can be found here along with some lovely icons that help tell her story.

I read the story to my children and showed them some of the icons. They were particularly interested in the lion and her miracle of walking across the Jordan river. We talked a bit about how sorry she was for her grave sins and why she chose to live a life of extreme asceticism in the desert (as a form a deep and humble repentance, to keep herself from returning to her old ways and to become closer and closer to God). We also talked a bit about Fr. Zosimas' pride and his sincere humility after meeting St. Mary.

I asked my kids what part of St. Mary's story they found the most interesting. My daughter said the part where Mary was unable to enter the church on Jerusalem was most interesting to her and my son was most fascinated by the fact that she lived so long alone in the desert.
Zosimas and St. Mary with simple figures in the Waldorf style. We used watercolor pencils (I have a set I have been wanting to try out so I thought this would be a good project for that!). We used two particular icons (see above) as inspiration for our drawings and I encouraged the children to either depict Fr. Zosimas with the reposed St. Mary (and the lion nearby) or St. Mary coming across the Jordan river to receive communion. I made a quick drawing as an example for them. After they completed their drawings I showed them how they could dip a paintbrush in water and go over parts of their painting with the brush to make it appear like a watercolor painting. I think the effect and the resulting pictures are lovely.
A note on paper: After a trial run, before I did the project with my children, I decided to use watercolor paper. I first tried the project with an 80# drawing paper, but with the water it made the paper wrinkle up too much. The heavier watercolor paper worked much better.jeanniesophiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01752398494981398589noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762767475451877185.post-37916612620184675862014-04-03T12:12:00.001-07:002014-04-04T13:22:54.565-07:00Creating A Garden

She wanted her and her little brother to each plant a garden and see who could grow the best crops - she's very competitive! We've been pretty busy so I hadn't had time to plan anything out (plus I'm really more of a flower gardener - I'm terrible at growing edible things!). It's already getting late to plant certain crops so I decided today was the day to just jump in and get it done. We moved to this house last summer so I did not have a garden area prepared. There was a certain area with pretty loose, rich dirt (the previous owners had a pig for awhile who worked up the soil a bit) and I planted a few zinnias there last year so I decided that was the spot of least resistance for their little gardens. We pulled weeds, hoed and the kids used some extra bricks we have to mark the border of their gardens. I was hoping our chickens wouldn't notice the new area, but as soon as we had a few seeds planted they were there scratching and pecking! So my husband came to the rescue and built a quick fence. Now to see if anything will actually grow there! It's not the fanciest or prettiest garden ever, but my kids are proud of creating their own little garden space. Do your kids like to grow things? Happy gardening everyone!
On the Fourth Sunday of Great Lent in the Orthodox Church we commemorate St. John Climacus (also known as St. John of the Ladder). He is the author of the book The Ladder of Divine Ascent, a treatise on spiritual exercises and actions. In the book he outlines 30 steps, each one being a virtue to be acquired or a vice to be surrendered. Through these steps a person can better know Christ and attain the Heavenly Kingdom.

I read my children a lesson on St. John of the Ladder from the Children's Garden of the Theotokos curriculum. We looked at how you climb a ladder, one step at a time, by climbing a real ladder in our house. We talked about St. John and his book and some of the virtues he taught. We looked at the icon for The Ladder of Divine Ascent (there is a short video on the link provided above that explains a bit about the icon). This happens to my 6 year old's favorite icon. He has a little book of icon prints he takes to church and he stares at this particular icon through most of the Divine Liturgy service each week! He loves to study all the figures in the icon, the monks and priests climbing the ladder, the angels in the corner, the demons trying to pull the people off as they try to reach the Heavenly Kingdom and Christ in the upper corner reaching out to those on the ladder.

For our project the children made their own Ladder of Divine Ascent picture. We used tan cardstock for the background for this project. I cut out some strips from black construction paper that my children glued onto their cardstock to make a ladder. I cut out some very basic fugures from white construction paper to reperesent the monks, angels and demons. My daughter colored hers in different colors to represent the different figures - brown for the monks, black for the demons and gold for the angels (with halos around their heads). My son chose to draw all the figures on his page. He wanted to add more detail like the original icon with swords and bows and arrows for the demons. They also drew a mandorla (blue circles) in the corner near the ladder to represent the Heavenly Kingdom and golden spears coming out to represent the Holy Spirit.
He used his whole body with large motions when painting, hence the nickname, Action Jackson. I found a wonderful children's book about Jackson Pollock at my local library. The book, Action Jackson by Jan Greenberg and Sandra Jordan is very lyrical and beautifully written with delightful ink and watercolor illustrations. The story gives children (and adults alike!) a wonderful glimpse into the life and work of Jackson Pollock. It includes a brief biography at the end and resources to learn more about Pollock.

I read the Action Jackson book to my class and then showed them some examples of Pollock's work. Check your local library for books that include photographs of Pollock's work or look for books that include various modern artists including Pollock. I concentrated mostly on Pollock's drip paintings, but showed examples of some of his other work too. An internet search will give you many examples of his work that you can show your students. This website has some good examples. Make sure to show your students Lavender Mist. Also, show some photos of Pollock in action painting. You can find some good photos HERE.

Photographer Hans Namuth gives a vivid description of Pollock at work in the book Pollock Painting (1980):
A dripping wet canvas covered the entire floor … There was complete silence … Pollock looked at the painting. Then, unexpectedly, he picked up can and paint brush and started to move around the canvas. It was as if he suddenly realized the painting was not finished. His movements, slow at first, gradually became faster and more dance like as he flung black, white, and rust colored paint onto the canvas. He completely forgot that Lee and I were there; he did not seem to hear the click of the camera shutter … My photography session lasted as long as he kept painting, perhaps half an hour. In all that time, Pollock did not stop. How could one keep up this level of activity? Finally, he said 'This is it.'

Pollock’s finest paintings… reveal that his all-over line does not give rise to positive or negative areas: we are not made to feel that one part of the canvas demands to be read as figure, whether abstract or representational, against another part of the canvas read as ground. There is not inside or outside to Pollock’s line or the space through which it moves…. Pollock has managed to free line not only from its function of representing objects in the world, but also from its task of describing or bounding shapes or figures, whether abstract or representational, on the surface of the canvas.
I had been doing a 6 week session on modern artists and I think the kids enjoyed this project the most. I gave each student a large white sheet of poster board. We took them outside (this is definitely a project to do outside unless you have a big art studio that you don't mind getting messy!) and placed the poster board on tarps and cheap plastic table cloths on the ground. We placed the less shiny side of the poster board up so the paint would stick better. I poured some regular poster paint into small buckets and added a little water to make the paint thinner and easier to drip. I placed a paint mixing stick (but a paint brush would work fine too) in each bucket and put all the colors on a table. Each student could grab a color he or she wanted to use and fling and drip onto the poster board. The kids had a so much fun with this project and even my most reserved students really got into the project and were smiling and laughing by the end. The results were fun and beautiful. After the paintings dried each student took them home to enjoy.
We decorated our own Russian style crosses with markers and pretty paper scraps.

I drew a blank Russian style three bar cross on card stock and then let the kids decorate their how they liked.

I gave them markers, scissors, glue sticks and some pretty origami paper I had left over from a Japanese wabi-sabi collage project.
Then make a collage using the items. Glue onto cardstock or poster board with craft glue or tacky glue to make a colorful spring nature picture. We threw in a few glass beads for good measure!

Happy Spring and Happy Creating!

I adapted this craft from the book Crafts for All Seasons.

Supplies used:
3 pieces of green construction paper (green card stock would work better!)
scissors
stapler
white glue
green paint (optional)
glitter (I only had silver, but I think gold would look better)
hole punch and yarn for hanging
He is remembered on this Sunday because the condemnation of his enemies and the vindication of his teachings by the Church in the 14th century was acclaimed as a second triumph of Orthodoxy.

St. Gregory was born in 1296 in Constantinople to pious Christian parents. He eventually entered the monastic life. Through solitude and inner stillness he was able to enter into a state of constant prayer. He wrote various treatises on asceticism and prayer and defended the methods used by hesychasts.
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.

To prepare for this Sunday I read a lesson to my kids about St. Gregory Palamas from the Orthodox curriculum, The Children's Garden of the Theotokos (Anaphora Press). It teaches children about the use of prayer ropes with the Jesus Prayer. Instead of making the page outlined in the lesson, I used a craft found on the Crafty Contemplative blog. Click HERE for the craft. We did ours slightly different (for instance we used 3-dimensional stickers for the crosses) and added an icon of St. Gregory that I printed. I made my own with the kids and said one Jesus Prayer as I glued on each of the circles that represent the knots on a prayer rope. You can read more about prayer ropes HERE.
The kids seemed to really enjoy making their own version of a prayer rope on paper and we hung them on the wall to remind us of this prayer throughout Lent.
Why do these two go so well together especially when it comes to children?

Children love stories. They love to make up and tell stories of their own (when my oldest was younger I remember listening to him tell stories he made up for what seemed like hours), they love to act out stories, they love to listen to stories being told or read to them and they love to watch stories being acted out by others. There's something irresistible about a good story and it is an invaluable and important way children learn.

Another thing children love to do is create. They are born naturally curious and naturally creative. As mentioned above they usually enjoy creating stories of their own, but you will also find them creating with anything they can get their hands on - from crayons and paint to tape and empty paper towel tubes.

Children are also born with a natural love of learning. They are curious about the world around them and reach out to explore with their hands (and mouth and feet!) as soon as they are able. As a parent and educator it is my responsibility to nurture that inborn desire for learning in my children.

Since children love stories so much, since they love to create and are such visual and tactile beings, it seems only natural to combine learning with a good story and a hands-on project. I've found that my own children and my students remember what they have learned better if they have a hands-on project to go with the lesson. The ideas become more concrete and the memory of the person, place or thing they are learning about sticks with them better. The process of building a pre-historic dwelling out of clay, fabric and sticks involves many of the child's senses so the ideas and information about pre-historic peoples and their civilization or types of dwellings will sink in and become more "memorable". I like to take photos of my children working on their projects or of the finished project and put the pictures in their notebooks for that year. So when they look back at their notebooks its a visual reminder of what they learned.

I've found it especially effective in the history and art history classes I teach to read the children an interesting and engaging story or picture book and do a related hands-on project. We view some great examples of art too of course and take some time to discuss the art, but the story and project really make the artists or time periods we study come to life.

Children need to learn and they need to create. It is vital not only to their mental well being, but to their spiritual well being as well. They become more whole and fulfilled persons when they are encouraged and given the means to be creative. I would like to encourage all educators, whether in the classroom or at home, to incorporate art and craft projects in their students' lessons; and to encourage the children's natural curiosity and desire to learn and create with a good story and an opportunity to make some amazing art of their own!jeanniesophiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01752398494981398589noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6762767475451877185.post-44069891812156656762014-01-06T13:40:00.001-08:002014-05-30T19:34:50.588-07:00Theophany CraftI decided to do a quick and simple craft for Theophany today. I read to the children this morning about Christ's baptism in the Jordan and how the Holy Spirit descended on Him and appeared like a dove. So we made paper doves this afternoon. We will hang them above the table for our celebration this evening. This brings to a close our Christmas festivities with Theophany/Epiphany and the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
We traced the dove on to white paper and then cut it out. I cut a slit in the side where the wing would be. We cut a square piece of tissue paper and folded it accordion style then slipped it through the slit. I attached some yarn for hanging.

A blessed Theophany to you all!
Troparion of the Feast

When You, O Lord were baptized in the Jordan
The worship of the Trinity was made manifest
For the voice of the Father bore witness to You And called You His beloved Son.
And the Spirit, in the form of a dove, Confirmed the truthfulness of His word.
O Christ, our God, You have revealed Yourself And have enlightened the world, glory to You!jeanniesophiahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01752398494981398589noreply@blogger.com0
